20th March 2024 Spring Equinox - Ostara

The spring equinox is a festival of renewal and abundance. Spring, new beginnings and the fertility of the earth are celebrated.  We welcome the Vernal Equinox because it means that the time has come for life in full to begin anew.  Day has overtaken the night and things are growing! As the beginning of spring Ostara is a good time to literally and figuratively plant seeds for the future.  What you plant during Ostara will be ready to be harvested during the coming summer months.

In this course we will set our intentions for our garden and our relationship with nature.  Growing flowers is a beautiful way to observe the seasons, to create habitat, to become more attuned to the natural world.   I will teach you how to grow flowers for cutting in a way that helps you to take a holistic approach, to deepen your connection with nature, to put habitat, diversity, sustainability and beauty at the heart.

The workshop is held at Doddington Hall 10 am – 4.30 pm. 6 places max. £115 pp  Tea/coffee and all materials provided.  Please bring your own lunch.
