1st August 2024 - Lammas

Lammas marks the midpoint between summer and autumn, and is the first harvest festival of the year. It’s a time for harvesting, gratitude for summer produce, and enjoyment of the warmth and light that is still to come.  It is a time to reap what you have sown, and in the cutting garden it is a time of abundance for flowers. The seeds sown at Ostara are now in full bloom and ready to be harvested.

I will teach you how to make a hand-tied bouquet harvested from the garden.  I will teach you how to gather the garden and arrange it beautifully so that it captures the essence and abundance of the season.  It’s a beautiful skill to have to make the best of your flower harvest at any time of the year.

The workshop is held at Doddington Hall 10 am – 2.30 pm. 5 people max. All materials, tea/coffee/lunch are provided £135 pp
