20th June 2024 Summer solstice - Litha

At the summer solstice the sun reaches its highest position in the sky and is the day with the longest period of daylight. It is a powerful planetary moment when the tilt of the Earth brings us closest to the sun. We can use that energy to inspire, uplift and energize us, to light our fires. It is a time of vigour, of energy, nature is in the middle of summer and the days are warm, so the fullness of nature is celebrated.

This intimate celebration will focus on spending time in nature and using the healing power of flowers to celebrate our connection to nature.  We will do a mindful walk and forage in the gardens at Doddington Hall and create a nature based mandala to represent the circle of the seasons.  We will then practice some energy work using flowers as a tool, using their unique energy signature to help you heal and move forward.

The workshop is held at Doddington Hall 10 am – 4.30 pm 4 places max. Tea/coffee/lunch is provided
