The autumnal equinox is a moment in the year when day and night are exactly equal. This event marks the beginning of autumn, which lasts until winter solstice. Nature goes to rest; summer days, full of energy and vitality, have now passed to a moment of rest and balance between wakefulness and sleep of nature. This threshold marks the point where we step into the darker part of the year, which is a period of reflection and rest. We celebrate the harvest and all that has come to fruition in the light part of the year and honour our connection with the earth.

In this workshop we will create an abundant wreath from dried grasses, seed-heads and dried flowers harvested from the garden over the summer. We will create a beautiful everlasting symbol of the wheel of the year to remind us of all that we have harvested over the season, until the wheel turns again.

The workshop is held at Doddington Hall 10am - 3pm. 5 people max. All materials, hot drinks and lunch are provided. £125 pp
