18th September Autumn Equinox - Mabon

The autumnal equinox is a moment in the year when day and night are exactly equal. This event marks the beginning of autumn, which lasts until winter solstice. Nature goes to rest; summer days, full of energy and vitality, have now passed to a moment of rest and balance between wakefulness and sleep of nature. On the autumn equinox, we celebrate the harvest and honour our connection with the earth.

In this intimate meditative workshop we will reconnect with ourselves, the earth and our creativity. We will do a mindful walk in the gardens at Doddington Hall observing the change in the seasons foraging as we go.   Our mindful foragings will be used to create a mood-board which will tell the story of our experience of the garden in that moment.  We will use that storyboard form the inspiration for an abundant floral arrangement full of garden harvested flowers and materials. It is a beautiful way to immerse yourself in the season, to be held by nature and allow your authentic creativity to shine.

The workshop is held at Doddington Hall 10 am – 4.30 pm. 4 people max. All materials, a beautiful vessel, tea/coffee/lunch are provided. £165 pp
