The joy of being surrounded by flowers, creating something beautiful, perhaps learning to look at your garden with fresh eyes is wonderful and life-long. As well as learning practical skills, being surrounded by flowers, being present in the moment, keeping our minds still and focused is so good for us on a deeper level.

This is a beautiful opportunity for those of you who love flowers and who would love to learn more about growing and floristry in an informal way rather than through professional training. Consisting of 6 sessions throughout the year it’s a fabulous way to connect with like minded people and hone your growing and floristry skills.

How to grow cut flowers

For anybody who would like to grow flowers in a wilder way, to grow beautiful things with a lighter touch and a softer footprint. You may want to produce beautiful ingredients to use for a business, you may want to create a diverse habitat in your garden, you may want to spend more time outside, growing things that are inspiring for you. This day course will introduce you to growing cut flowers and is suitable for all levels of experience.

Using the best of the flowers from Rachel's cutting garden in this inspirational and hands on workshop, you will learn how to gather the garden and make a hand-tied bouquet that really shows off the best the season has to offer.

In this lovely festive course Rachel will show you how to make a mossed wreath using seasonal materials. You will make your own luxury wreath to take away for your front door and a fabulous skill that you can use all year round.
